Reveal Email Account Passwords from OE Classic

OE Classic is a perfect alternative to Outlook Express, Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail. If you forgot the email account passwords saved in OE Classic, you can reveal them with ease by using the Asterisk Password Recovery program. This tutorial walks you through the steps to reveal email account passwords from OE Classic.

How to Reveal Email Account Passwords from OE Classic

1. After opening OE Classic, click the Tools menu and choose Accounts from the drop-down list.

   

2. It should display all email accounts you've configured in OE Classic. Double-click the email account you want to reveal the password for.

   

3. Go to the Server tab. If the Password text box contains some asterisk characters, you can proceed to reveal the hidden passwords behind asterisks.

   

4. Launch the 32-bit version of the Asterisk Password Recovery program as OE Classic is 32-bit application. Press and hold down the left mouse button to drag the icon in the right corner of the Password field.

   

5. When hovering over the Password text box in OE Classic, the actual email password hidden under asterisks will show up in the Asterisk Password Recovery program.
