Follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press Windows Key + R keyboard shortcut to open the Run dialog. Type <strong>regedit<\/strong> and hit Enter to open Registry Editor.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/regedit.png\" alt=\"regedit\" width=\"399\" height=\"206\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9183\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>Navigate to the following registry location:<br \/>\n<code>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Windows<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Right-click the <strong>Windows<\/strong> key in the left pane, and then select <strong>New<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Key<\/strong> and name it <strong>Explorer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/create-explorer-registry-key.png\" alt=\"create-explorer-registry-key\" width=\"602\" height=\"380\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9467\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>Right-click the newly-created <strong>Explorer<\/strong> key, and then select <strong>New<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>DWORD (32-bit) Value<\/strong>.
