Starting with Windows 10 Creators Update (build 1703), there is a new feature that allows you to hide certain pages of the Settings app. In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you how to use group policy or registry editor to hide certain or all pages of the Settings app in Windows 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method 1: Hide Settings Pages in Windows 10 Using Group Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press Windows + R keys together on your keyboard, then type <strong>gpedit.msc<\/strong> and press Enter.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/gpedit.png\" alt=\"gpedit\" width=\"399\" height=\"206\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9207\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>When the Local Group Policy Editor opens, navigate to: <strong>Computer Configuration<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Administrative Templates<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Control Panel<\/strong>. In the right pane, you will find the option named <strong>Settings Page Visibility<\/strong>. It is a new policy in Windows 10 Creators Update.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/settings-page-visibility.png\" alt=\"settings-page-visibility\" width=\"586\" height=\"380\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9228\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Double-click the <strong>Settings Page Visibility<\/strong> policy. Set it to <strong>Enabled<\/strong>. In the text box, you can specify a list of settings pages to show or hide. For example, if you want to hide the &#8220;Sign-in options&#8221; page from the Settings app, then type:<br \/>\n\t<code>hide:signinoptions<\/code><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/hide-sign-in-options-page.png\" alt=\"hide-sign-in-options-page\" width=\"600\" height=\"553\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9229\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>Note:<\/strong> <em>signinoptions<\/em> is the URI of the Sign-in options page. To look up URIs for every pages of the Settings app, please check <a style=\"text-decoration:underline;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.top-password.com\/knowledge\/open-specific-windows-10-settings.html\" target=\"_blank\">this article<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\tFor example, to hide the the <em>Bluetooth<\/em> page and the <em>Display<\/em> page, type the value:<br \/>\n\t<code>hide:bluetooth;display<\/code><\/p>\n<p>\tIf you want to specify that only <em>About<\/em> and <em>Bluetooth<\/em> pages should be shown and all other pages hidden:<br \/>\n\t<code>showonly:about;bluetooth<\/code><\/p>\n<p>\tIf you want to hide all settings pages, type:<br \/>\n\t<code>showonly:<\/code><\/p>\n<li>Next click <strong>Apply<\/strong> and then <strong>OK<\/strong>. Re-open the Settings app to check if it takes effects. In my case, the Sign-in options page is disappeared.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/sign-in-options-page-hidden.png\" alt=\"sign-in-options-page-hidden\" width=\"600\" height=\"417\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9230\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve configured the policy to hide all settings pages, you&#8217;ll see nothing after launching the Settings app:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/hide-all-settings-pages.png\" alt=\"hide-all-settings-pages\" width=\"600\" height=\"293\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9231\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method 2: Hide Settings Pages in Windows 10 Using Registry Editor<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press Windows + R keys together on your keyboard, then type <strong>regedit<\/strong> and press Enter.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/regedit.png\" alt=\"regedit\" width=\"399\" height=\"206\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9183\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>When the Registry Editor opens, navigate to the following key:<br \/>\n<code>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Policies\\Explorer<\/code><\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t see the <strong>Explorer<\/strong> key, then just create it yourself.\n<\/li>\n<li>Right-click on the <strong>Explorer<\/strong> key in the left pane, and then select <strong>New<\/strong> > <strong>String Value<\/strong>. Name the value as <strong>SettingsPageVisibility<\/strong>.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/create-string-registry-value.png\" alt=\"create-string-registry-value\" width=\"606\" height=\"311\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9232\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Double-click on <strong>SettingsPageVisibility<\/strong>.
