In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you how to set a password on Outlook data file in Outlook 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Set a Password on Outlook 2016 Data File?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the Outlook 2016 application. Right-click on the name of your email account in the left pane, and then select &#8220;<strong>Data File Properties<\/strong>&#8221; from the popup menu.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/outlook-data-file-properties.png\" alt=\"outlook-data-file-properties\" width=\"569\" height=\"400\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8707\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>This will open the Properties dialog box. If not, leave the field blank and enter a new password and verify the password.
