By default, Windows 10 stores all apps in <em>C:\\Users\\user_name\\AppData\\Local\\Packages<\/em>. If you find yourself always on the verge of running out of disk space on system(C:), you can change the default location where Windows 10 saves and installs new apps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Change Default Location Where New Apps will Install?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the Settings app. You can either click the <strong>Settings<\/strong> icon from Windows 10 Start Menu, or press the <strong>Windows<\/strong> key + <strong>I<\/strong> keyboard shortcut.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/open-settings-app.png\" alt=\"open-settings-app\" width=\"484\" height=\"519\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7855\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>System<\/strong> option.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/system-settings.png\" alt=\"system-settings\" width=\"600\" height=\"415\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8643\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>On the left-side, click <strong>Storage<\/strong>.
