To prevent changing a password from Command Prompt, you have to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/disable-command-prompt-using-group-policy-or-registry-trick\/\" target=\"_blank\">disable Command Prompt<\/a> completely.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Prevent Windows 10 Users from Changing or Adding Password in PC Settings?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To get started, you need to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/8-ways-to-open-computer-management-in-windows-10\/\" target=\"_blank\">open up the Computer Management console<\/a>. This can be done by pressing the Windows key + R and type <strong>compmgmt.msc<\/strong> in the Run box.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/compmgmt.png\" alt=\"compmgmt\" width=\"399\" height=\"206\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7758\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Expand the <strong>Local Users and Groups<\/strong> category in the left pane.
