Most of us use the Copy or Cut command from the Context Menu, and then paste the file in the destination location. To speed up the file copying \/ moving operations, you can add the &#8220;Copy To&#8221; or &#8220;Move To&#8221; shortcuts to Windows right-click context menu. This is a hidden feature available in Windows 11\/10\/8\/7, which can be enabled using a registry hack.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Add &#8220;Copy To&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Move To&#8221; Shortcut to Windows Right-Click Menu?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/6-ways-to-open-registry-editor-in-windows-10\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Open Registry Editor<\/a> and navigate to the following key:\n<p><code>HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\\AllFilesystemObjects\\shellex\\ContextMenuHandlers<\/code><\/li>\n<li>Right-click on the <strong>ContextMenuHandlers<\/strong> key in the left pane, and then select <strong>New<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Key<\/strong>.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/1.png\" alt=\"1\" width=\"529\" height=\"348\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7829\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Rename the new subkey from &#8220;New Key #1&#8221; to <strong>{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}<\/strong>. This will immediately add the &#8220;<strong>Copy To folder<\/strong>&#8221; shortcut to Explorer context menu.<\/li>\n<li>If you want to add the &#8220;<strong>Move To folder<\/strong>&#8221; shortcut to Explorer context menu as well, repeat the same steps to create a new subkey named <strong>{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}<\/strong>.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/2.png\" alt=\"2\" width=\"529\" height=\"348\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7830\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Now right-click on any folder or file on your computer, you&#8217;ll see two extra options (&#8220;<strong>Copy To folder<\/strong>&#8221; and &#8220;<strong>Move To folder<\/strong>&#8220;) have been added to the context menu.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/3.png\" alt=\"3\" width=\"319\" height=\"424\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7831\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>After selecting either &#8220;<strong>Copy To folder<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>Move To folder<\/strong>&#8221; from Windows right-click menu, a browse window will open.
