The frequently-used shortcuts, like <em>Desktop<\/em>, <em>Downloads<\/em>, <em>Documents<\/em> and <em>Pictures<\/em>, are pinned to Quick Access by default. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/quick-access.png\" alt=\"quick-access\" width=\"453\" height=\"318\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6965\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This tutorial shows you how to pin your own personal folder to Quick Access, unpin a folder or reset Quick Access to default.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part 1: Pin Folders to Quick Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open the File Explorer. Now select the folder, library or even a drive that are to be pinned to Quick access. Right-click on it and select &#8220;<strong>Pin to Quick access<\/strong>&#8221; from context menu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/pin-to-quick-access.png\" alt=\"pin-to-quick-access\" width=\"572\" height=\"424\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6966\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Your selected item will be quickly pinned to the Quick access section from File Explorer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part 2: Unpin Folders from Quick Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open the File Explorer. Here&#8217;s a simple way to reset \/ restore Quick Access folders to default:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the Windows key + X to open the WinX menu.
