Here is a registry hack to get rid of the Search button from the taskbar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Hide \/ Remove the Search Button from the Taskbar?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the Windows key + R to bring up the Run box. Type <strong>regedit<\/strong> and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.<\/li>\n<li>Browse to the following registry key:<br \/>\n<code>HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion<\/code><\/p>\n<p>In left-side pane, right-click on CurrentVersion and select &#8220;New -&gt; Key&#8221; and give it name <strong>Search<\/strong>.\n<\/li>\n<li>Now right-click on the right-side pane, and then create a new 32-bit DWORD and name it <strong>SearchboxTaskbarMode<\/strong>, and set the value to 0.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/disable-search-box.png\" alt=\"disable-search-box\" width=\"691\" height=\"314\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5264\" \/><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>Once this is done, restart Windows 10 and the Search button should be gone.
