Open Local Group Policy Editor<\/a> and browse to: Computer Configuration\\Administrative Templates\\System\\Filesystem\\NTFS<\/code>. On the right pane, double-click the policy “Do not allow compression on all NTFS volumes<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

Select the Enabled<\/strong> option. Click Apply<\/strong> and then OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
