This problem usually happens when you map a network drive using administrative Command Prompt or a logon script. By default, only network drives created with standard rights will show up in File Explorer. In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you two solutions to fix the issue of mapped network drive not showing in Windows 11.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method 1: Configure the EnableLinkedConnections registry value<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/6-ways-to-open-registry-editor-in-windows-10\/\">Open Registry Editor<\/a> and navigate to: <code>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\Policies\\System<\/code>. In the Value data field, enter 1 and click <strong>OK<\/strong>.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/edit-dword.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"331\" height=\"199\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18126\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/edit-dword.png 331w, https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/edit-dword-300x180.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 331px) 100vw, 331px\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>After restarting the computer, network drives created by elevated apps will be visible in File Explorer, and elevated apps can also access the network drives created by programs running with standard rights.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Method 2: Map a network drive with normal Command Prompt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If the mapped network drives are not available, try to use the standard Command Prompt to map a network drive. Follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/open-command-prompt-in-windows-11\/\">Open up a regular Command Prompt<\/a> (NOT in admin\/elevated mode). Type the following command and press Enter.
