In that case, you can choose to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/reset-local-security-policy-to-default-in-windows\/\">reset your local security policy settings to default<\/a>. On the right pane, double-click the &#8220;<strong>Remove and prevent access to the Shut Down, Restart, Sleep, and Hibernate commands<\/strong>&#8221; policy.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/prevent-access-to-shut-down-command.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"572\" height=\"328\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17857\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/prevent-access-to-shut-down-command.png 572w, https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/prevent-access-to-shut-down-command-300x172.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>If this policy is enabled, just change it to &#8220;<strong>Not Configured<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>Disabled<\/strong>&#8220;.
