In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you simple ways to disable specific apps or all apps from running in the background on Windows 11.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method 1: Disable Specific Background Apps Using Settings App<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the <strong>Windows<\/strong> key + <strong>I<\/strong> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/common-ways-to-open-settings-app-in-windows-11\/\">launch the Windows Settings app<\/a>.
