Microsoft has been pushing Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on Windows 10 computers for eliminating passwords. If you would like to log into Windows 10 with a traditional password, here is how you can get the missing password sign-in option back to the login screen.<\/p>\n

How to Fix: Windows 10 Password Sign-in Option Missing<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Press the Win + I shortcut keys together on the keyboard to open the Settings app<\/a>. Click on the Accounts<\/strong> category.\n

  2. Choose the “Sign-in options<\/strong>” tab. On the right side, turn off the “Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts<\/strong>” option so that Windows 10 will not restrict Microsoft accounts to use Windows Hello sign-in only.\n

  3. Log off your account or restart your computer. You’ll notice that the missing password sign-in option is back and you can now log in to your Microsoft account with a password instead of Windows Hello.\n
