In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you 2 methods to prevent Windows 10 from automatically downloading the next feature updates, without blocking cumulative updates.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method 1: Prevent Windows 10 Feature Updates via Group Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/open-local-group-policy-editor-in-windows-10\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Open Local Group Policy Editor<\/a> and navigate to: <code>Computer Configuration &gt; Administrative Templates &gt; Windows Components &gt; Windows Update &gt; Windows Update for Business<\/code>.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/select-target-feature-update-version.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"599\" height=\"276\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16194\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/select-target-feature-update-version.png 599w, https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/select-target-feature-update-version-300x138.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the right pane, double-click the &#8220;<strong>Select the target Feature Update version<\/strong>&#8221; policy.\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Enabled<\/strong> option.
