In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you how to create system restore points in Windows 10 using Command Prompt or PowerShell.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part 1: Turn On System Protection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before getting started, you need to check if system protection is enabled. To remove this limitation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/6-ways-to-open-registry-editor-in-windows-10\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">open Registry Editor<\/a> and navigate to: <code>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\SystemRestore<\/code>.
