Method 1: Disable Windows Installer Using GPO<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Open Local Group Policy Editor<\/a> and expand Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Windows Installer<\/code>. Double-click the policy named “Turn off Windows Installer<\/strong>” in the right pane.\n
