These problems usually happen when your DNS cache is corrupted or out of update, so Windows can&#8217;t resolve the domain name of the website you&#8217;re visiting into IP address correctly. Clearing the DNS cache is the most effective way to resolve DNS related problems. Here&#8217;s how you can view, clear \/ flush DNS cache in Windows 10, 8, 7.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part 1: View DNS Cache<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/open-elevated-command-prompt-from-standard-user-in-windows\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Open an elevated Command Prompt<\/a> and run the following command:<br \/>\n<code>ipconfig \/displaydns >C:\\dnscache.txt<\/code><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/view-dns-cache-in-windows-10.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"526\" height=\"141\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15216\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/view-dns-cache-in-windows-10.png 526w, https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/view-dns-cache-in-windows-10-300x80.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 526px) 100vw, 526px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The above command will export the local DNS cache to a text file: C:\\dnscache.txt.
