This looks like that Task View is activated but it&#8217;s actually a feature called Snap Assist. If you find the thumbnail previews are really annoying, you can disable Snap Assist using the Settings app in Windows 10.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/snap-assist-thumbnail-preview-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14719\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Disable Snap Assist in Windows 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the Windows key + I shortcut to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/6-ways-to-open-pc-settings-in-windows-10\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">open the Settings app<\/a>. Click on the <strong>System<\/strong> category.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/system-settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"443\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14716\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Multitasking<\/strong> tab in the left menu. On the right side, uncheck the option labeled &#8220;<strong>When I snap a window, show what I can snap next to it<\/strong>&#8220;.
