In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you 3 ways to open Notepad as administrator in Windows 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method 1: Open Notepad as Administrator via Cortana Search<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Type &#8220;<strong>notepad<\/strong>&#8221; in the Cortana search box on the taskbar. Right-click on the program that appears in the search results, and select &#8220;<strong>Run as administrator<\/strong>&#8220;.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/open-notepad-as-administrator.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"393\" height=\"472\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-13079\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>When the User Account Control dialog appears, click <strong>Yes<\/strong>.
