This tutorial will show you 2 methods to delete custom or built-in power plan in Windows 11 \/ 10 \/ 8 \/ 7.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method 1: Delete Custom Power Plan Using Control Panel<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press the Windows and R keys together to open the Run dialog box. Type <strong>powercfg.cpl<\/strong> and press Enter to access one of the Control Panel applets &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/6-ways-to-open-power-options-in-windows-10\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Power Options<\/a>.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/powercfg.png\" width=\"401\" height=\"207\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>To delete a custom power plan, you first have to choose another power plan as the active one. Follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/open-command-prompt-in-windows-10\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Open the Command Prompt as administrator<\/a>.
