In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you how to fix the &#8220;<em>Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded<\/em>&#8221; error in Windows Server 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Fix &#8220;Your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded&#8221;?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To get started, you need to access the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/open-internet-options-in-windows\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Internet Options<\/a>. After Internet Explorer is launched, click the gear icon on the top right corner, and then select &#8220;<strong>Internet options<\/strong>&#8221; in the drop-down menu.\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/internet-explorer-settings.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"589\" height=\"355\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12136\" \/>\n<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Security<\/strong> tab.
