In this tutorial we&#8217;ll show you how to install \/ uninstall OpenSSH from the Settings app in Windows 10.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Part 1: Install OpenSSH as an Optional Feature in Windows 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Press the Windows key + I shortcut to open the Settings app, and then click the <strong>Apps<\/strong> category.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/windows-10-apps.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"410\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10691\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When the <strong>Apps &amp; features<\/strong> page appears, click the &#8220;<strong>Manage optional features<\/strong>&#8221; option in the right pane.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/windows-10-apps-features.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"428\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10692\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This will launch <strong>Manage optional features<\/strong> page displaying a list of various installed features. Now we want to install OpenSSH, so click the &#8220;<strong>Add a feature<\/strong>&#8221; button.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.top-password.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/manage-optional-features.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"544\" height=\"361\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10693\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Browse through the list of features and look for the <strong>OpenSSH Client<\/strong> or <strong>OpenSSH Server<\/strong> feature.
